Founded in 1995 by Geoff Gray, CSS Group was formed through the merger of a family-owned business and two established security-based companies, combining over 35 years of experience in serving Canada’s security, correctional, and public safety sectors.
Built on integrity, precision, and reliability, CSS Group quickly became a trusted partner to government and institutional clients, recognized for dependable products, responsive support, and operational insight.

Our History Timeline
CSS Group launched Urban Tactical®, a new division focused on law enforcement, military, firefighters, EMS, and outdoor professionals.
CSS Group created Hi-Vis City in response to the growing need for reliable, high-visibility safety solutions in critical industries such as construction, energy, transportation, and public safety.
CSS Group opens the Urban Tactical store in Brantford, Ontario, extending the brand’s retail footprint beyond Manitoba and improving access for Ontario law enforcement, military, firefighters, EMS, and outdoor customers.
