Retail Merchandiser – Urban Tactical
Position Overview
Urban Tactical is looking for a creative, organized, and driven Merchandiser to help bring our retail experience to life. This role is responsible for maintaining visually impactful product displays, supporting inventory flow, and ensuring our stores reflect the Urban Tactical brand at the highest level.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands customer buying trends, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment focused on tactical gear, apparel, outdoor products, and lifestyle merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain engaging in-store product displays and merchandising layouts
- Ensure shelves, fixtures, and promotional areas are fully stocked and visually organized
- Work closely with purchasing and retail teams to support product launches and seasonal changes
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and replenishment
- Analyze product movement and customer trends to optimize product placement
- Maintain pricing accuracy and promotional signage throughout the store
- Support receiving, transfers, and overall inventory organization
- Assist with store events, promotions, and brand activations
- Ensure merchandising standards align with the Urban Tactical brand image and customer experience
Qualifications
- Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred
- Strong visual presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in tactical, outdoor, hunting, or lifestyle retail is considered an asset
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
