Purchasing Coordinator – Retail & B2B
At Urban Tactical, we are looking for a highly organized and motivated Purchasing Coordinator to support our growing retail and B2B operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inventory purchasing, maintaining supplier relationships, supporting product flow, and ensuring our retail stores and commercial clients receive the products they need efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication and analytical skills, and understands the importance of inventory accuracy, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing activities for retail and B2B operations
- Create and manage purchase orders with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning
- Track incoming shipments and follow up on delayed or backordered items
- Maintain accurate product, pricing, and vendor records
- Work closely with warehouse, retail, sales, and logistics teams
- Support product forecasting and inventory planning initiatives
- Assist with new product setup and vendor onboarding
- Resolve supplier discrepancies including pricing, shipping, and invoicing issues
- Prepare purchasing reports and assist with inventory analysis
- Ensure purchasing processes align with company policies and operational goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control, retail operations, or supply chain
- Experience in retail and/or B2B environments preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
